Where to meet
- Bahan and Kamayut: phones, laptops and student items
- Hlaing and Mayangone: furniture and household goods from apartments
- Downtown: parts and electronics accessories
- North and South Dagon: reasonably priced household goods
Good to know
Motorbikes are restricted in the city, so allow time for taxis or buses. Power cuts are frequent: meet where electronics can be tested and avoid late evenings.
Best sellers include phones, generators, inverters, rechargeable fans, refrigerators and air conditioners.
